Although the 2020 Block and Bridle Convention was canceled due to Covid-19, they still announced the awards for the 2018-2019 school year!

Alumni, members, and pledges attended this tailgate where they enjoyed food and played games while waiting for the game to start.

The members and pledges had a tailgate in the Ag Quad parking lot played games and cooked amazing food.  
 

State Fair 2021

The members and pledges cooked food to sell at the State Fair to help raise money for our club. 
 

Dave Linker awarded Honorary Membership

May 1st, 2019

Dave Linker, who has advised the Block and Bridle Club since 2003, was awarded Honorary Membership by the Club at our Spring Formals for his outstanding contributions to our Club.

Block & Bridle visits government officials in Richmond

Block and Bridle attends National Convention in New Orleans

January 28 - February 2nd, 2019

The Club attended the 99th National Convention in New Orleans that was held in conjunction with NCBA's convention. Members participated in the NCBA Cattlemen's College, Trade Show, farm tours, and annual banquet. The Club won the Chapter Annual award, was second for Chapter Website, third for Scrapbook and fourth for Chapter Activities 

Dr. Wood Farm help

November 10th, 2019

Club members helped clean-up Dr. Wood's farm this weekend by helping patch fence, clean gutters, re-arrange the garage and more! 

Homecoming Parade

November 3rd, 2018

The Club participated in the Homecoming Parade for the first time in years. We won second place for our float! 

State Fair 2018

September 28 - October 6th

Our Club once again served barbeque, ribeyes, chicken, lamb, slaw, beans and ice cream at the Virginia State Fair over the course of two weeks! 

Hokie Hello

August 30th, 2018

Our Club participated in the 2018 Hokie Hello recruiting fellow students to join our Club and winning the inaugural cornhole tournament!
